I have the most lovely patrons!. A couple came by to bring me a tray of mica that they found at a renaissance faire. I am so very lucky.

I made more jewelry yesterday but also worked on a couple of 4 x 4 pieces. The first is "Despite her advanced years, Alma could still remember the iris from her family's farm"; the second is "While diving, Sabrina always liked to watch her bubbles bound away to the surface"

I've been remiss with posting new work. My apologies. There's been a lot going on - jet lag, family visiting, illness, high winds and dust storm alerts. Exciting times had by all!. Here are a few of the new ones. :)

I'm counting down the hours before we leave....:). I decided it best to come into the studio so I wouldn't compulsively repack my suitcase. I've been working on Frank today. 12" x 4"

I finished a piece of art this morning. “After a rough therapy session, Esmeralda reconsidered her layers”. Yup, that’s onion skin with mica. 3" x 3

It's a weird little piece but I like it.. Some onion skin blew in my door this morning so, I used it.

Oh my gosh!!! We're really going!. One of our offsprung is also visiting after our return so I'm taking a few more days off to spend time with them.:)

It was a great day yesterday. Art and jewelry were sold and I replenished my pendant and earring selection. I thought I'd take one of the new pendants for a spin today.
