I said sure! I was hoping for Oliver Reed LOL. A few days later I get a call and I'm connected to a man without a British accent. It was Richard Chamberlain.

Given everything going on in the US and the recent discussions about bringing conversion therapy back my heart breaks for those students and friends who are in the LBGTQ communities.
Richard Chamberlain saw the worst and the best in his life. We need to go forward, not back.

I'm reading his memoir, Shattered Love, which I highly recommend. Published in 2004 he officially came out as gay. He finally found peace with himself and for his partner Martin Rabbett.
He also published a poetry and art book in 2013: My Life in Haiku.
