Once the mighty human realm of Thelden ruled over a significant portion of these lands, almost surpassing Anmara, the mighty elven empire. But Thelden's heartland fell into darkness, and the kingdom collapsed into a sliver of its former self, and was eventually dissolved. The kingdom of Elrin have now risen to power, but it is dwarfed by the great powers of the world.
