I've started doing the AV at church cause someone thought because I can program I know sound 😂

Anyway they had a Christian band come do a workshop and one point that stuck with me was creating space for each instrument.

Looks funny but plays amazingly. Has a neat little story to explain and introduce mechanics.
Comes with a talking receipt companion too! 😂

I'll sit down later tonight and have a play and give you my thoughts then. I haven't seen many games like this so I'm encouraged to see this being made.

Haven't checked ot out yet but I sometimes play one on my tablet. My suggestion if not already included to planned is a good explainer. I struggle still to be able to solve them. So a really good tutorial or help section is Mt suggestion from experience.

2.5D is something I want to learn to build. I've only done plain 2D games.

my 2 cents of advice, pre-prep or have easy meals planned. gives you time and space to focus on the jam, not doing life tasks like meal and washing.

I imagine you gained a lot of experience and knowledge doing that. I've been writing smaller modules to add to my personal asset library so I save myself time in the long run. Why rewrite platformer movement code each time? Just tweak as needed.
