Creepy disclaimer on IRS dot gov tool for requesting an employer identification number (EIN). Much of the client-facing IRS site actually fairly friendly to people who aren’t legal wonks. This was not written by anyone who knows what they’re doing. “There is no right to privacy on this system”?!
