My little manga haul from Barnes & Noble.
Being the Last of Toriyama's works I enjoyed #DragonballDaima quite a bit. While a little slow at first it really caught up and gave you everything that Dragonball has come to be. The New Characters, the Soundtrack, and the New Forms were a sweet treat since the series was written canon to DB.

Finished season 1 & 2 of #RurouniKenshin (2023) I love that we get to see a canon version of the manga, and the new take on Kenshin and other characters gives a good reflection of the actual characters from the manga.

I was quietly worried about #SleepToken - Even in Arcadia album. Two of the Three singles felt a little safe. But the album? 10 kaleidoscopic songs. This album is bold and ambitious. The band does an excellent job of exploring and synthesizing music genres together.

Finished season 2 and 3 of #LegendsOfVoxMachina. This show was just ok. Animation is good. Edgy and adult themed is always great. Nothing new in writing, but it's still entertaining enough.

#TheRedRangerBecomesAnAdventurerInAnotherWorld is an entertaining comedy adventure story that smartly interweaves satirical commentary on all of the classic Super Sentai/Power Rangers tropes.

#SoloLeveling is a delightful surprise. This show has blown me away. Aside from the minor-slow start, this series picked up very quickly with non-stop action and mystery.

I have mixed feelings about #HoneyLemonSoda. I do like the story of Miura trying improve Ishimori is somewhat interesting. With that said, this is supposed to be romance anime, but it's hard for me to feel the romance when all he does is being angry at her.

#NintendoSwitch2 launches June 5 for $449.99 time and Nintendo switch games are $79.99 both digital and physical. The system seems like a fair price, but the games are way overpriced. Even though I don't own a PS5 or Xbox I guess it's matching their games prices by $10.

New to weekly anime lineup: The Legend of Vox Machina season 2 and 3.
Just finished My Adventures With Superman S02. Josie Campbel has done an exceptional job with this series and has gotten me interested again in the DC universe. Her approach to the Superman vs. Brainiac story while also introducing a really complex version of Supergirl was clever.

My anime TV lineup update: After finishing Astra: Lost In Space I have replaced it with #MyAdventuresWithSuperman season 2.

My anime TV lineup update: After finishing Astra: Lost In Space I have replaced it with #MyAdventuresWithSuperman season 2.
Just finished #Astra:LostInSpace. This anime takes a bit to get the ball rolling but it's absolutely worth it. Every episode builds upon itself. It gave us all twist of turns. I thought the story was extremely clever.

I have decided to create my very own inspired “Toonami” special line up. So on Monday nights I will be watching these 4 animes in English dub, as they drop a new episode every week on Crunchyroll.

I’ve always wanted to start One Piece anime, but I always found the task very daunting. There are 1122 Episodes (and ongoing) If I watch two episodes per day, it would take about 2 years and 7 months. At this point I welcome this.

TikTok has shutdown in the USA. Not only that they removed the apps from the App Stores, but we are blocked from the server. How fascinating.
