Hey all, so i know i had planned to use this site to post about my 3d printing adventures! However shortly after my last post I loaned my X1C to a friend, I should be getting it back this weekend (with some new stuff in it) so let the printing begin (soon™).

Well i learned this weekend that when replacing the PTFE tubes on a Bambu printer, you really should use their tubes and not cheap stuff off Amazon. I spent way too long trying to figure out why the printer was having filament jamming issues.

FedEx just dropped off some more filament. Some of this is going to be for the Christmas present that i’m working on for my partner. That should be a fun print, can’t wait to start working on that.

Up next: the centre of the Hydra Pro! I printed this in Bambu Lab PLA Basic Pink. When I get the chance to print another Hydra Pro to upgrade my other AMS, I’m thinking of flipping the colours—pink on the outside, charcoal for the centre.

Over the weekend I printed out the Hydra Pro (t.ly/sVi1a) for the new AMS that I purchased. I still need to print another one to upgrade my other AMS that is using an older Hydra. This is the two outside pieces, and its printed in Bambu Lab PLA Matte Charcoal

I had to change up what I'm currently printing as the 2nd AMS I purchased from @bambulabglobal.bsky.social arrived damaged and they shipped the replacement parts with Canada Post who is currently on strike, so no package or mail delivery until that strike has been resolved.
