They shut down building on an apartment tower in midtown and the Atrium hospital project in Dilworth. Must be costing the developers and contractors serious money. The Trumpy contractor from work is crying about how he supports the IDEA of mass deportations, but not when it affects his bottom line 🤦♀️

They are on track. Yesterday they broke a car window to haul a US citizen out of his vehicle who and arrested a cleaning crew working in a church in front of a bunch of children.

The thing that is infuriating about this is that Charlotte is run by a center-right coalition called the Democratic Party. Reps don’t get elected becuase they encourage insanity like this ICE thing that is VERY bad for business. Our mayor endorsed Bloomberg in the last presidential primary FFS.
