It’s been a while! Just checking in to say plodding along with work things (loving my time working in publishing at Curious King) and looking forward to a rest in the holiday season after a very stressful autumn.

But tonight it’s Wicked For Good and a dinner date and Doctor Who Party tomorrow!

I don’t share photos of myself like this very often but the light hitting my bed getting up this morning felt like a good experiment for photos.

I really wanted to draw something inspired by the finale of The Holmwood Foundation, so here’s Jeremy and Maddie with their terrible coffees before chaos erupts in the finale.

First Day vs Last Day

The Lancet was amazing but there’s a new adventure on the horizon!
Thanks for everything!
This was my first day at the Lancet in September 2022. I have a buzzed haircut. A bright green blouse, thick glasses and looking quietly anxious but still smiling. This is a picture of me yesterday, July 2025. I now have longer hair, but thinner with a receding hair line, and have a full beard. I look happier and more content in myself. I’m also standing with a bust of Thomas Wakley, the Founder of The Lancet. On the bust it says “Senator, Coroner, Social Reformer”

Been spending the weekend with my ex and his family, catching up & playing boardgames and putting the world to rights. I’m so honoured to have these beautiful people in my life, even if it’s slightly different to how it was before. ❤️❤️
