I prefer the original published language whenever possible, I've found a lot of nuance can be missing when something gets translated.

Ive been doing that more and more with swedish and it's one of my favorite parts of learning a new language

I love it for my kids just to keep them actively learning *something* and keep up their interest in learning things outside of just school. So I naturally have to keep up a streak too. It's definitely a game to me though, outside of my normal language learning time.

I have a handful of languages I mess around with just because they interest me, and one or two that I'm actively studying at a higher level. I try to keep the more serious languages consistent for longer periods of time but they all originally were "mess around" languages that I fell in love with.

They would not speak just one language, but the sentence "got any grapes" in as many languages as possible to expand their chances of getting grapes
