Last night was our first with Cillian at home. It went surprisingly well.
Liadh’s still in the NICU coz she ain’t made it ta 4lbs yet. They been pretty attached, so there was some concern about bringin him home without her. But turns out, if I put him on my chest & hum he goes right ta sleep.

Liadh Caitín arrived shortly thereafter weighin 3lbs 11oz.
Cillian is latchin well but we’ll hafta see how much he’s actually able ta nurse. Liadh’s havin a little more trouble but we’ll see how the day goes.

Well, the knowledge that in the next couple weeks my sleep schedule is goin ta hell has been compounded by the fact that Vi cain’t sleep. Apparently the twins refuse ta settle. I think they heard our conversation about my brother’s baby havin ta be scheduled & said hold my bottle.

Y’all. My family all went in for a present for me and Vi for Christmas. They bought us a car with third row seating. It took everybody pitchin in, but they decided that was what we needed this year, so they was gonna make it happen.

We hit 24 weeks today. The twins are officially viable! Vi got the amnio results back today and everythin looks good. Now we just gotta keep em in there till they’s good and ready.
