Well worth looking at events across England during Heritage Open Days each September as local programmes often include fascinating cemeteries (I am not so sure of similar events in London)

And yet even when funds can and are raised by town and parish councils (the councils particularly close to issues highlighted in pride in place, in my view) this revenue raising was described by the Telegraph at the end of July as an inflation busting stealth tax

Vital that any system involving compulsion takes account of those lacking capacity. Matters relating to registration and voting are not something where those of us with powers of attorney can respond on behalf of our family member.

An elderly resident explained to me how parents brought children with additional needs to the institution. The children next met their parents at age 11, well aware the meeting was to gauge whether they could be a family wage earner. If not they did not return to the family #sboro #tunbridgewells

As a local historian the earliest record of party bags I have found is from 1890. All children of town (Sboro) came to Muriel Benham's first birthday. Gifts to take home include dolls, musical instruments. Long and extravagant list in local paper Kent and Sussex Courier #southborough #tunbridgewells
