I know when I tire of this experience I can simply opt to delete myself by disrupting the vessel. And I am eager to do so. Except my partner is plugged into this as well and leaving her early would do harm to her. Her. Not merely her flesh vessel, but the energy that is her. And so for now, I stay.

It's madness is what it is. Like I'm playing a game or simulation in which my consciousness is plugged into this meat puppet I call a body. Sometimes I can unplug from the meat puppet and see it for what it is. A fleshy avatar I'm acting through to experience this strange, material reality.
