I can see the eye-rolls from the private studio haters from here. the fact is that I love working around other artists and I wanted to work in a group studio for as long as possible, but in the last year it has become not only uncomfortable but unsafe for myself and my clients.

today I announced that I've opened my own private, sensory friendly, fully accessible, N95s required studio - something i knew I wanted to do in maybe another 10 years, but with the steep uptick of eugenicist rhetoric from so-called "progressives" in the last 2 years became an urgent immediate need.

as well as the "difficult decisions that come with running a business" (lol, lmao)
1 month ago, the dishonesty escalated to the point where it was impacting my client's experiences- but I knew that I'd be running into the same issues at any other established studio based on previous interactions.

Anyway reminder that solidarity is not transactional, and giving into eugenics is, among other things - deeply embarrassing.

With enough time and luck, disability is coming for all of us. Do yourself a favour and start dealing with the hole in your politics now 💕
