This is genuinely what I was going to recommend! I did the OG method back when I was making turkey for family thanksgivings and it always turned out fantastic.

You gotta remember though, the owners of these companies are not building robots for *us*, they're building robots for themselves so they can have something that looks like a person that they own and treat like trash without falling afoul of any labor laws

I've been building my own computers for over 20 years now, this is certainly a *bold* choice for a first computer. That being said, seems fairly straight forward to build in it, good clearances all around the main board area for installing and maintenance.

On the one hand, global coms infrastructure being centralized into the hands of 3-5 trillion dollar companies is showing itself to be a mistake for both the control is gives oligarchs over our lives and the inherit fragility of such a setup, but on the other hand go the fuck back to sleep and rest!

Oh I love it when multi billion dollar companies spend millions trying to market existing products to us in a way that tries to trick us into thinking they're novel / necessary when they aren't instead of paying their workers a living wage! It's my favorite thing!
