That looks delicious. I made baked spiced meatballs from Sabrina Ghayour’s latest book & then we watched Barbie…quite enjoyable & a welcome change from all the stuff on the news.

Completely engrossed in the latest offering by @liammcilvanney.bsky.social Absolutely gripping story & it’s so well written my stomach is churning. The fact that it’s set in Ayrshire & I know the places where it’s set somehow is making it feel so much more real. Excellent book

We now have tiny olives in the garden. Whether they ripen is another matter but who’d have thought you could grow figs & olives in Ayrshire.

Waving from up the road in Loans. 👋🏼
Good to hear it was a success & I’m really looking forward to starting this…it’s on the top of the pile.

Old clematis putting on a grand show. The harder we cut it back, the better it flowers.

Flowers on my olive trees!

I wish you could smell this. Huge load of raspberries picked over the last few days & despite eating them every day I have enough for jam making. There’s about a kilo in there.

Spinach, peas & baby courgettes to be added to a frittata with some shop bought asparagus & Feta.

Barassie beach at about 10pm: perfect evening.
Husband was miffed we didn’t bring anything back from the Barassie chippy.

Midsummer at Barassie beach. Still people in the water at 9pm as it’s still very warm. Arran has retreated behind the mist.
