They are not pretty.. we rescued one that had fallen out of its nest last year… put it back and it was fine thankfully… looked a lot like this!

Last year we had 2 lovely plump breasted pigeons build a nest in a tree on our drive. Came home one day to find a big immature chick sitting in the middle of our parking space. My husband put the chick back in the nest … success! …they came back to the nest this year and had two chicks!

I prefer the before pic. He looks more cuddly and fun. But I also think the difference in lighting … harsher lighting in the after pic, makes it less appealing too.

I don’t like the term ‘vegan leather’ but ‘plastic’ doesn’t really describe it accurately either, as it implies it is derived from crude oil. (Although not all plastic is). Needs a new term.
