Non-stop seeds all summer from the Bulbine lilies, really loving trying to re-establish these in our area. Only a few local stands known in this council area.

I’ve spent a month weeding stands of Briza maximus in the small council reserve next door. It’s strangling a patch of federally protected, endangered grass. It also risks crowding out the Chocolate Lilies & other native lilies. This project is going to take 3-4 years, in Spring.

A Xerochrysum palustre (Swamp Everlasting) which is critically endangered in Victoria. Planted a few in a boggy patch in my garden and they’re doing well. There are only 35 significant-sized populations left in Australia in the wild. 🌱🌼
