This is bonkers. I got the email about an hour ago. Didn’t read it until I got a panicked call from an employee who was on leave.
Last week we were doing the impossible- working with insufficient staff, frozen funding and rock bottom moral.

I just had to call the Poison Control hotline because sometimes that life with a rambunctious 3yo (thankfully she’s fine). But it made me think about the funding for such a valuable service- a large chunk of it is federal.
