I live near Norwich, so it's been fascinating reading about local locations, and I'll sign up for one of the Shardlake walking tours.
I've just read the series end to end, so not sure what to read next 🤔

A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry

This is the only book I've read that actually made me cry. Even on the second reading.

Currently reading A History of the World in 47 Borders - Jonn Ellege. Fascinating look at how areas of land have been divied up, why, and by whom.

Livewired - David Eagleman. An insight into what's currently known about how the brain works. And how much we still don't know.

I'm now ashamed of my own phone . . . 😭

I have it ready to throw myself in, but thought I'd get the overview from the BL exhibition and then focus on the detail around Margaret.
Also, I should be focusing on my own writing before I start researching something new 😂

Off to see that exhibition on Friday. I live not far from Paston and am finding the Paston family story fascinating

I gave up on art in Infant's School when my teacher told me I'd drawn a lovely squirrel.

It was a chicken.

I've swept the kitchen floor, cleaned the worktops, brought in some firewood and am now editing scene in my rom com where a llama breaks free and creates mayhem at a medieval fair. No art/life immitation here!

I'm the same with my old Merlin fic. Had kudos only yesterday on something that's well over a decade old. But hey! Someone's still enjoying it 😀
