maybe it's not as bad, like you both say. it seemed like a big part of the saving. the company who administers the shared cost AVC scheme have just emailed, seem to be suggesting it's important to invest as much now before the changes, which i can't afford to do.

salary sacrifice into pension was my plan for the next 13 years until i retire at 67. i had planned to increase it over the 13 years, having expenses / debt to cover in the next couple of years. i'm gutted by the 2k cap. this totally blows any hopes of retiring any earlier out the water.

the frustration has resulted in my politely hanging up on poor Vishnu, after a rant that i hope was recorded and used for training purposes, and failure on my part to answer any future calls from that number. the pole remains, with cable flapping... though it is secured to the pole.

i need to contact 3 different teams (that i need to contact myself) to have the cable disconnected from the house and pole outwith the garden, to have the cable removed from the pole in my garden, and to have the pole removed from the garden. it has taken multiple calls to establish this.
