We've watched an entire people live stream their own genocide and watched our leaders look away. It's bad enough on its own but it also flags to the rest of the world that our international court and checks and balances don't really mean anything. It flags to the world that evil will go unpunished.

Lastly, no parent should expect to be happy ALL the time. There are hard parts and that's just part of the deal

But I'll also say that prospective parents need to sit down and think of what it really means to say "I'll love my child no matter what".

I genuinely love being a parent, but it's really hard to find other parents that genuinely love it too. We need to stop putting pressure on people to have kids that don't want them. Kids deserve parents that truly want to be parents and are ready to be parents.
