The "trans people can be whatever but can't go in my bathroom because they could hurt me" is NOT a good faith argument.
It sounds rational at first. I get it.

Have you ever filled out a FAFSA? Benefited from SNAP? Maybe your kids benefited from Medicaid when you were finishing up college? Are you older and on Medicare? A Veteran? Disabled?

It's important to unplug from the atrocities of reality occasionally and we can't let panic rule every moment.
Rest is essential.
But it is also important that we keep talking about those atrocities to keep them from becoming normalized or drowned in the barrage of assaults on our rule of law.
