Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with side stepping on -4 and up to evade jabs since people have a habit to press either lengthy start up panic buttons or jabs that can be stepped and punish, I use b4 here bc it on CH it’ll go into a throw and remove all grey health.

This 2 hit string has become an important player in my offense, it gets the casino rolling. If I think you mash instead of doing the 2 hit low (fc 1+2) I can do fcdf2 which counter hit launches. Another risky option is Ws1 which launches, so I save that for soul reads, but yeah, the mix is mixing

So one thing I’ve come to realize is since no one really knows where the other person is plus, people will mash on anything. Lar’s db4 is a CH launcher, so instead of using it as a long range low poke I’ve repurposed it as a tool to get out of pressure, and a hard call out for when someone mashes

I think the biggest weakness I had while climbing through red ranks is not utilizing heat properly, instead of popping it full screen I’ve started to incorporate it into my combos, gives me a mixups between the low you see me use after the combo, and a mid that tornadoes for like 50 to 60 damage

So, as usual when I made it to the next color rank I took some time off to breakdown my Lars and rebuild it into something better. From more mixups, to better strings to use to gather information about the opponent habits, I pondered a lot while taking a break from the game, here’s what I found

This combo is my baby and even if it’s not optimal i won’t stop doing it, I probably will do SEN 3+4 if I don’t wanna side swap.

This is my new go to combo for f1+2, the ff4 is tricky and i can already tell it’s gonna drop there online a lot, but this combo structure is nice and can be applied in a lot of other places so i’ll thug it out
