As fall lingers in cool wisps and skies that smell of rain that doesn’t fall, our new issue explores the liminal space between renewal and ruin, where bodies, memory, and land carry “burdens...vast like the sea of my god.” Read online for free or order in print: willowswept.com/2025/09/20/i...
Issue Thirty-Eight: Fall 2025
Fall has begun to arrive—slowly, and felt more in cool wisps of pre-dawn air than anywhere else. Storms linger offshore and make their afternoon way here less frequently, but the afternoon sky hold…

New poem for Ukraine, big thanks to
@musepiepress.bsky.social!
Also the first stanza of my book Unimaginable Hardship for which I created a stanza form and called it the 'Tryzub' because of the 3 internal linking rhymes.

All this is headed to India and China or just being ferried to other Ruzzian facilities around the Black Sea. I doubt they are insured.
Another environmental catastrophe caused by Russians east of Crimea, after one of their decaying oil tankers broke apart on high seas 2 days ago, 35km of pristine coastline has been contaminated in true Russian style.

And these tankers are now all over the world.

This is very emotional. The brother of Tamaz Ginturi, a Georgian patriot tortured by Russian occupiers last year, is giving out apples to protesters. The apples are likely from his garden in their village. #terrorinGeorgia #GeorgiaProtests

French math works
⚡️🇫🇷France believes that military facilities on the territory of the 🇷🇺Russian Federation are legitimate targets for 🇺🇦Ukrainians, - French Ambassador to Ukraine

In view of this, the country will continue to supply Ukraine with long-range SCALP missiles.

Pretty simple math, even for idiots
⚡️🇷🇺Russian aviation has more than halved the intensity of its attacks on 🇺🇦Ukraine with guided aerial bombs since November 20.

It was in mid-November that Kyiv received permission to launch Western missile strikes on internationally recognized Russian territory and began carrying out these attacks.

Freedom from authoritarianism is hard won. How quickly we forget, living in luxury and excess, forgetting what is truly valuable. We don't need to de-escalate with Putin, we need to destroy him.
