It’s not a monolith but basically every Bluesky-active CFB podcast crew has been insanely anti-Fitzgerald since the jump and it really seems over the top. He wasn’t my first choice but the hyperbole is wild when you compare to the way they talk about the PSU and UofM searches.

I don’t hate Smith at all but MSU is likely not going to a bowl game this year (6-6 is probably best case) and the recruiting/NIL are in rough shape.
