I have used that station many times and always thought to myself, I should pause, there has to a be good framing here, somewhere. There are times though when you are a commuter and not the photographer. I have stopped behind there though and framed the canal in photos a few times. Fun area.

That’s a nice shot. Usually it’s packed so simple shots are not possible and, you found a great perch, this station entrance can often feel ‘devouring’ without spots to rest your eyes or get a overarching view. Brings back some memories.

My retired parents have health care through a pension and now medicare. They say the same thing when I mention healthcare costs. It’s quite a challenge to get them to understand why their grown children are not making ends meet right now when healthcare eats up so much of our income.

If you have had an abuser in your life, you know. You are anticipating the next move, lashing out or possibly the peace offering if you just be nice. Dementia eroding any self control he may have left is not helping any of this rage.

The closest (and only) medical center near by doesn’t negotiate a rate with the insurance company of my employer (ironically the teaching school of the medical center) so I travel an hour to another center for far better rate for the same procedure. None of it works for us, it’s all for greed.

I’ve called medical centers to ask for costs for procedures and got the run around like no other run around. They don’t have pricing just vague hand waving and you get stuck with an eye popping bill when insurance doesn’t cover any of it.

All the grocery store adverts this Sunday screamed ‘lower prices’ or ‘prices are falling’. Are they or is it just of the propaganda machine. Likely the latter because the sale prices being offered are temporary.

😅 it *was* my own decision at least. Part of a tasting menu of traditional Icelandic foods. It didn’t disappoint on highlighting local foods for better or worse. Lol.

Definitely would taste like fish, the kind of fish smell at the zoo’s penguin exhibit. I’ve had fulmar, a bird with a similar diet. An acquired taste 😄

December will be telling. When the vote doesn’t happen, or the bill is voted down, it’s on her. I’m tired of her and others reaching across the aisle just to find the leopards now eat faces. There is no one left to work with. Please come up with newer strategies.

While it’s seems ideal to ‘buy American’ there is not enough to do so and likely won’t ever. Our grocery store chain has already struggled to keep pasta on the shelf through the tariff chaos.
