Worst minis I ever painted...
I had forgotten how terrible Finecast can be. This has been a crippling experience I don't want to repeat anytime soon.
Large parts were completely unreadable and had to be chiselled free or resculpted and there's still a whole bunch of ugly spots left.

My version of Dunk and Egg from 2011. Seeing the shield in the new trailer made me smile. I hope the show does them justice.

Miniature rescue: I found this poor fellow burried in a box of forgotten projects. The paintjob (probably almost 20 years old) was chipped here nd there but overall in good condition although the arms had to be reattached. A new base and a fresh coat of varnish brought it back to life. #mesbg

I spent the summer holidays reading the Hobbit (and now LotR) to my kids. We started watching the movies and now we're busy to paint some minis as the older son is eager to get into the game. He's painting Thorin's company, I provide the baddies. #mesbg
