Absolutely! Constructive disagreement is a tool for learning. Many times I've asked a Trump supporter why they liked him, hoping to learn something only to get a response like 'drop dead libtard '

When my husband was ill with stomach pain, Google said it was appendicitis. The doctor came out & said it was a bug. It was appendicitis & he would have died if I hadn't gone for a 2nd opinion.
