Where the written word meets art, and laughter cures everything (except broken legs—seriously, go see a doctor). We’re a queer/woman/veteran-owned bookstore in PNW that loves books, games, and bad puns.

To those who found community there: this isn’t the end. It’s a change, a difficult one, but community lives in the people, not the platform. We will adapt, and we will find each other again.

Let us reflect on what we had, what it meant, and what it reminds us to fight for.

In our little corner, we will continue to build local communities, fostering connection and conversation in every way we can. If you ever want to chat, share stories, or just be a part of something meaningful, we’d love to connect with you all.

You brought joy and knowledge to countless lives. You taught us, made us laugh, gave us hope, and reminded us of our shared humanity. Though this space is gone, we carry the light you shared with us, and we hope to see you again somewhere, someday.

To all those we’ve watched—Keith Lee, Darcy and Jer, laughterinlight, and so many more—thank you.

But now, thanks to out-of-touch technophobes who failed to see its value—or worse, profited from its downfall—those connections are scattered.

One of our first follows! Your books have been a staple in raising our kids and now we try to keep your books stocked on our shelves. Amazing work my friend. Keep it up!

Our story time kiddos cant get enough of this one when we read it to them. We have to limit how many tries they get or else we would only read that one.
