It was *already* disturbing to see the distraught faces of people whose lives were being senselessly upended. But now they don’t just fear deportation, but death via state-sanctioned violence.

What gets me most about all the ICE detention videos going around is the escalating fear captured within them. Early on most of the detainees were quiet, and now, when a plainclothes officer begins assaulting them, they scream in terror because they know this could easily be their last free moment.

Anyone have the ability to debug a .blend file? I'm completely at a loss regarding this strobing black circle occurring under every light source on every model I make. This is my first major project using 3D, and *every* scene of this nearly 2 hour video is 3D rendered 😭

So my tiktok algorithm has begun heavily pushing videos of white girls dancing to the n word. In 2024 I had videos taken down for using the green screen filter or saying the word “election.” But this somehow gets past AI moderation? How?

Also, can we please stop glazing every white boy who does the bare minimum. Resisting Texas’ gerrymandering is the bare minimum. How does anyone look as Newsom and think “president?” He literally does photoshoots of himself destroying the belongings of homeless people. He supports homeless bans.

Here’s a graph I threw together of Bluesky’s activity (millions). There’s more people using the platform month over month, but less engagement overall. This is normal for social media platforms, as later-adopters tend to be read-only.
