Dedicated to finding and documenting different merch and media from the Cheeky Angel manga and anime, AKA Tenshi Na Konamaiki, before it becomes lost.
In one of the strangest pieces of merchandise I've ever seen, A digital alarm clock manufactured by "Shogakukan" for a "Shonen Sunday All-Star Special" very little information is known about it. According to a rough google translate, the alarm sound is a voice clip of Megumi.

A collection of "Cheeky Angel" themed Can Badges, along with a mini poster depicting other badges.
Can Badges are collectable metal pins that are either sold in blind bags (like this one) or come specifically bundled with things like a DVD or found at a limited time pop-up shop.

In the year 2000, "Cheeky Angel" tied with "Case Closed" (AKA "Detective Conan") in the Shogakukan Manga Awards in the Shonen category. Commemorative, limited edition Zippo lighters were made in celebration, although it is unclear if these were sold publicly.

On September 13th, 1999, Shonen Sunday put out an ad for their magazine, depicting their popular male characters pining after Megumi. Since the anime wouldn't release until 2002, this was our first look at Megu, Miki, and Genzo fully animated and voiced.

It is very easy to find sellers with pirated/bootleg anime DVDs. and somehow Cheeky Angel is no different, with two prominent DVDs that promise the entire series with English subtitles between 2 disks. These typically use a real time translator and are of poor quality.

One of the most documented pieces of merchandise for the series is a Japanese exclusive PS1 virtual novel. Produced by Bandai and released on September 26th, 2002, it seems to be a general retelling of the story with CYOA options and multiple endings.

For Shonen Sunday's 40th anniversary in 1999, there were commemorative coins for their characters. Cheeky angel had 3 made for Megumi, Miki, and Genzo. The only proof of their existence are various listings online. The backs of the coins all look the same

A Cheeky Angel pencil board (or shitajiki) was made by the company "Movic". Despite their name being on the board itself, I can find no other evidence of this collaboration except for the eBay listing where I got mine.

In 1999, Weekly Shonen Sunday celebrated its 40th anniversary, and since 1999 was also the year Cheeky Angel was first published, it got to be a part of the celebration. One item made was a 300 peace jigsaw puzzle, and featured in the bottom middle is Megumi.

Although it is not perfect (with many scenes either cut, skipped, or repeated) this playlist is still the #1 search result on YouTube for Cheeky Angel, and is most likely where a lot of western fans got their first look at the show.
