Tried so long while watching Conclave to figure out why the Vaping Cardinal was familiar until I realised he looks like an older version of Amir Blumenfeld

I only ended up listening to this because I knew I liked the Narrator from Howls Moving Castle but it ended up being one of my favourites this year. A beautiful and brutal story, and written in a style I thought might grate me but only endeared me to it more.

I barrelled through 3 of the Dangerous Damsels books in less than a week but this particular one was so funny and charming.

Sticking with Discworld for now, and speaking of amazing characters. Moist Von Lipwig is a rotten little brat and I love him. And the Discworld Industrial Revolution books are some of Pratchetts best.

The Guards books are some of my favourites I've ever read honestly, and this one in particular struck a chord with me. Sam Vimes is the character of all time to me, and this is one of his best books.

My first audiobook of the year, such a delightful listen, and such a wonderful and whimsical book.

All my reads for this year. My ADHD made it tough to start books this year but the world of audiobooks has definitely saved me. Terry Pratchett accounts for half my reads this year and I'm honestly surprised that's not higher.

Just finished this, really enjoyed it, and will hopefully get one more in before the end of the year but I haven't picked it yet

My new kitten does a lot of copying her big brother. I deeply hope he doesn't teach her all of his stay out late, feet biting, world dominating ratboy ways.
