Essentially if you work for a company like DC marvel or even some of the toy companies you are essentially signing over everything you create unless you are really lucky with your contracts you don't get anything other than your basic salary

I always saw it as them originally recruiting from files going for the guys that were recommended by higher ups once those guys were in charge they then started recommending the wild cards that the brass hated but they knew were good soldiers

Not only that but I always thought the haslab was too busy and detailed for the line. It's like they wanted to justify the price so they kept on adding details till it looked like a Dreamwave character

I think it's like car maintenance some lore is the equivalent of putting in petrol or giving it a wash, some is like changing the battery or oil. And then you've got the stuff that most people take to a mechanic.
