The US set the foundation and precedent for such organizations. They, quite literally, birthed these ragtag militant groups, who use their twisted ideological beliefs to grasp at power within the region.

Oh, I do agree with Pakistan, Iran, and co. being absolutely egregious when it comes to funding terror groups, but let's not pretend that the western hemisphere hasn't played a significant role in exacerbating this shitfest within the ME. They, too, have done their part in funding the same groups.

We could reasonably expect Italy, Poland, and yes, even Germany to use the nukes as nothing more than deterrents, but I would hardly trust Iran to not bring their nuclear arsenal to bear in any of its several conflicts.

That would be a monumentous undertaking, requiring a bigger stick than any country or organization is capable of wielding.
It's a nice fiction, but no country is giving up their nukes that easily, and Iran having access to nukes should be the bigger concern between the mentioned countries.
