Who stripped it all down to noise, rhythm, and chaos—“Candyskin” was post-punk at its most raw and reckless.

The Associates
Definitely weren’t afraid to be dramatic—Billy Mackenzie’s soaring voice on “Club Country” is pure theatre.

Channeled nervous energy into guitar-driven poetry—“Fun ‘n’ Frenzy” still feels urgent today, as far as I’m concerned.

Agreed - close, yet different enough, to tick the all the boxes for me!

Definitely my favourite modern(ish -2010) Christmas song that, I believe, deserves to be better know, so here it is - enjoy 🎄
