Arts & Disability Ireland together with the Lir Academy are hosting Audio Description Training in earlly 2026. FilmOffaly is covering the course fees for successful Offaly-based applicants.

We are working with a film company who are shooting a feature on the canals in Offaly from mid-September.

The crew are searching for between 7-10 barges for use in the film.

We are looking for a tutor(s) to devise and run a hands-on course on screenwriting to take place in Offaly later this year.
The course should take students through a comprehensive overview of the processes involved in developing their own scripts.

We are pleased to announce the recipient of this year’s FilmOffaly Short Film Award.

Megan Murphy has been awarded the long-running bursary for her script "Bigfoot Lover". The award is worth 12,000 towards production of the film, which is due to shoot on location in Offaly later in the year.

A production company is looking to film in the Ferbane area in September and October, and they are looking for a large commercial space they can use to house the costume department.
