#VampireHunterD was sooo mind blowing as a kid my mom’s friend showed it to us and she would also expose me to the Studio Ghibli Film Spirited Away but we loved both…I can’t wait to see the 40th Anniversary Re-Release seeing it remastered and on the Big Screen it’s gonna be sick.

The Cinematography is great what I appreciate is how the lighting is unique to me the look feels cold, but like a warm cold…also loved the Sinister Projector Easter Egg lol all in all it was a great time and I can’t wait for more @crookedhighway.bsky.social Films.

No sleep, my #Nosferatu showtime is at 5:30, I have a herb, 1/4 of Red Wine and decided after 26 years to pregame and rewatch Werner Herzog’s Nosferatu The Vampyre the film that introduced me to Count Orlok my FAVORITE and the one who terrifies me the most…today’s about to get weird lol

Here Steven C. Miller is diving into a genre that lately has disappointed me Hemlock Grove with that bs XL regular looking wolves to these derpy CGI monstrosities…(and I will not mention the other movie that’s dropping next year…you know who you are…yuck) but with decades of disappointment…5/

But anyway the look was important and after the first viewing, I filmed some stuff trying to replicate the Skinamarink look and what I discovered was this charcoal drawing/unreal engine look that feels real and fake…it was perfect I was so proud of it and was able to replicate it for the short…3/5
