Sat in the Innenhof at Kai Bar, a new Japanese/French brasserie in Berlin Mitte. Natural kitchen, calm vibe.. I’ll be back :)

Discovered Flawed Mangoes. You probably know some of his songs from viral posts without realizing it. Real name is Evan Lo. Based in Boston.

Been listening to the full albums. Emotional, textured and a little cinematic.

Hayao Miyazaki right now 😅

He resists the idea of art created without soul or struggle.

ARC-AGI-2 resets the scoreboard :)

It is a new benchmark for AI reasoning systems. The tasks are easy for humans but remain very difficult for AI.

Will anyone reach 85% in 2025?

What do you watch after Severance?

Hard to top, but next up might be: The Bear S3, Disclaimer, Arcane S2, Chernobyl, Dune: Prophecy, Hello Tomorrow!, The Wire

I love this kitchen! The tones, the design, the timeless mid-century feel. Built in 1955 by architect Gerald Luss for his own family. It is used in Severance S2E6 as Burt and Irving’s home. I really enjoyed the scene and the atmosphere of the house.

I love the Bell Labs Holmdel Complex, designed by Eero Saarinen. No surprise the Severance creators chose it for Lumon Industries.

What if work and life were completely separate?

In the series Severance, employees get a procedure that splits their memories. At work, they remember nothing from home. Outside, they remember nothing from work. Their two selves never mix.

"Devour feculence." • Mr. Milchick

I like the character development of Milchick. Always calm and in control, he finally pushes back in Severance S2E9. It’s a rare moment where we see his true feelings, frustration, resistance and quiet strength.

Why does GPT-4.5 exist?

Each 0.5 version of GPT means roughly 10X more compute used in training. GPT-4.5 follows this pattern, giving us another test of how far scaling alone can improve AI performance.

OpenAI has introduced GPT-4.5. It's not a “Frontier Model” :) but it’s smarter, more natural to chat with and makes fewer mistakes.

This line from "Into the Wild" made me wonder if happiness needs to be shared to be real or if it can exist on its own.

"Severance" is absolutely brilliant. The concept, atmosphere and storytelling are all so damn well crafted. Just finished Season 1 and I can’t stop thinking about it.

I read Sam Altman’s blog post on AGI. Nothing new, but some nice thoughts.

Three economic observations:

• AI intelligence scales with resources
• Smarter AI = bigger economic impact
• AI costs drop fast
