Does not boggle the mind. Farming is hard work for not great pay. Managing a MacDonalds or working in garbage collection pays well also, but those are not the most desired jobs in the country. Your "America First" idea is stupid.

What are you talking about? The US has about 16.6% of arable land. Look up arable if you don't know what that means. Not all land is suitable for farming, whether it has a building on it or not. Yes, we produce obscene amounts of food which is wasted.

Pretty sure beer/pop cans are worse, as is fast food packaging and thin plastic bags many supermarkets provide. Way to go for the mite instead of the log. Also, people are kept really busy running after seals caught in nets and fishing gear.
