I indeed was trying BirdNET, Merlin ID and Chirpity - all of them kinda failed. Bummer.

But somehow your BirdNET guess is quite close! Listening back to recordings on eBIRD, I can definitely hear some similar calls, although I'm not 100% certain it's a Whimbrel

Ah, shoud have specified that! The habitat was just city park, bird sitting on top of the tree. Unfortunately, didn't see it, so audio is the only thing I've got.

Checked out some Lapwing and Plover calls/songs, and it the pitch/overall song seems to be too different :( But thanks for your guess!

2/2 The cable car travels for 12 minutes from one station to another, and I was lucky to get 5 min uninterrupted recording. The spinning wheel moves up and down to counterweight the car. Here are some highlights from the recording session!
