Dad finally told us he'd lost sight in his right eye last week.
Got him checked out at Specsavers. They were brilliant.
Immediate referral to the Royal Victoria eye hospital.
It's a bleed into the vitreous fluid which should clear itself.
Further referrals for ongoing checks.

Molly ate well today, once she got her appetite back.
1 1/2 omelettes, salmon and ham.
Anything to get a bit of weight back on her after her stroke

The vet is pleased with Molly's progress. I've managed to get a kilo onto her thin bones, and the vet says to keep on with the good work. Today, she was well enough for a short beach walk and paddle, the 1st since her stroke.

Quilting advice sought!
I want to make an appliquéd quilt for a special friend.
I have only ever done needle-turn appliqué for simple shapes.
These pieces are more complex, so I'm thinking fusible paper backed web would be a better way to go.
Could anyone recommend a suitable weight Web, please?
