RME put a lot of effort into driver development, so as well as actual long term support, you can usually dial latency right down if you need to. I've got a few interfaces and one of their DACs and they're all fab

RME kit's expensive up front but their commitment to driver support's amazing - my old PCI HDSP9632 came out 20+ years ago and I've not used it in 10 years, but it's still supported with drivers for Windows 11 (latest update was July)
