It blooms blue and green in Jayce’s mind. “What do you see?” Viktor asks, rubbing gentle circles along the back of Jayce’s hand, and Jayce’s eyes slide shut. He feels Viktor’s voice reverberating inside him, sees Viktor’s gentle touch like an aurora behind his eyelids. Jayce can’t answer. He loses track of where he ends and Viktor begins.
