The winning team can be assigned to Golden Spin if the total TES (RD+FD) is at least 85 points.

New pair Ayumi Kagotani/Lucas Tsuyoshi Honda debuted their free skate at the JSF qualifying event yesterday.

Although the short program kept them in 6th place overall, Nagaoka/Moriguchi were actually 3rd in the free at Finlandia. Not bad for a last-minute, back-to-back assignment!
Once they can put out two strong programs together, they should really be able to climb.
