Started the first draft of something new last night. It's a prequel short story for my next book and it's Military Thriller meets Fantasy. Current title is "The Pirate Sorcerer of Mogadishu" and the plan is to give it away free. Loving building out this universe

Gosh, hello new followers! What a lot of you! Long story, short: After years of some bad luck with trad publishing, I've gone indie and I'm in the super-early stages of building my own fictional universe. A revised edition of my 2012 book, The Four Realms was first, published last month.

For those that don't know... the reason I've been quiet is that I embarked on a year long writing experiment which keeps getting extended because I got myself a busy job and have periods of inactivity due to... (still trying to work out the why)

I have 5 writing projects that I need to get done by end of September and I'm currently going through what I like to class as a "GRRM" phase. Not sure what derails me. is it my brain needing to rest, or do I self-sabotage in other ways?

I'll say it now. The GI Joe Classified Cobra Eel is one of my favourite mass market releases of the year. Evokes the classic 3.75" figure while still being original. Can be posed (and looks great) in a swimming pose. Love that the mask is removable.
