Fascinating elaboration on what homes are and do. My favourite section was on the kitchen ‘we are cooks of the world: we never stop cooking it … everything is in a state of constant reciprocal manipulation’ #BookSky #EmanueleCoccia

Dana Shultz at Thomas Dane is unmissable. Love the mix of the history painting tradition with a totally mad subject matter

Last week of #JohnLyons at Felix and Spear. John is most definitely an overlooked artist, now 92 years old its so good to see momentum gather around his work

And then there is Peter Doig’s show, House of Music, paintings you can take your time over alongside huge 1950s speakers, comfy chairs and soft lighting just being an oasis of calm. Perfect show for Frieze week. @serpentinegallery.bsky.social

Wild Uplands - a four-artist sculpture trail across the moors near Haworth.

99 Butterflies by Meherunnisa Asad, carved from pink Pakistani marble. There’s also a sound work with Opera North you can download to go with. It shifts around & adds to that eerie feel of the moors. #bradford2025

Also long been a fan of Zadie Xa, her exhibition really transforms this gallery. Loved these little layered moments. School group in there were proper mesmerised.

Turner Prize: Cartwright Hall, Bradford
(The site of my first curatorial job)

Mohammed Sami’s paintings. Incredible use of paint, all that texture disrupting the flow. Gives lots to stare at and try and work out.

‘The Secret Painter is so much more than a sentimental rags to riches yarn. Joe uses his uncle’s extraordinary life to tell a broader story about the way that working-class people in the twentieth century were excluded from art-making. [A] thoughtful, funny book’
