The point is how good Pope is overall. Nick Pope in the middle of our half

I'm sure he'd be on the bench if available, John Ruddy jeezaz. Only other possible and more likely thing is a bust up
November 29, 2025 at 5:25 PM
He's not the same player we signed, never got that pace and edge back
November 25, 2025 at 7:37 PM
We didn't miss Matt Targett at all last season, now he's gone we so need him. Can't bear watching BDB get torn apart
November 25, 2025 at 7:36 PM
I think he'll try it, Joelinton is struggling for form anyway. It's the away set up in particular that's the issue, but we had that last season for a while too, with Isak struggling on his own and unable to hold the ball up, and Eddie fixed it...be interesting to see. FBs and Wissa will help change

Yeah I agree, he is a great finisher but I don't think he'll get more chances playing up top back to goal. Reminds me of the rut Shearer got into that SBR had to fix, getting him to play on the half turn more. Also Bellamy alongside him helped massively.

It's completely different in the PL where teams have quickly worked out how to defend him by pushing high and marking both behind him and the space in front of him. He's too predictable which makes it easier to defend against at the top level, especially away from home where we don't have the ball

We've played two sides in the CL that would struggle in the Championship. Barely laid a glove on an average Barca team without their star player
November 2, 2025 at 4:38 PM
It was so depressing to hear
October 26, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Ffs hope I'm not right
October 25, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Bit of both probably

Fulham usually cause us a lot of problems, without always getting the result, I'm really nervous today.
October 25, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Joelinton will give Burn some protection hopefully, can't have him exposed one on one every week. it's a soft spot every team is exploiting, Traore in today to attack him
October 25, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Joelinton back in will give Burn some protection, hopefully he's not left one on one too often
October 25, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Brighton are a way better team than Benfica, who were pretty awful
October 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM
Botman looked surprisingly wobbly on Saturday otherwise I'd agree 100%. Ithink Burn is still our best LCB and the best in PL. Doing a job at LB but we all hate it when he gets exposed 1 on 1, cringe
October 21, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Haha
October 21, 2025 at 6:48 PM
This is a recipe for a battering in the Derby, so stupid
October 21, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Yeah he's not the same player but interesting and very illuminating he wasn't considered to start at Brighton when the first 3 were knackered and Miley and Ramsey weren't fit enough to start
October 21, 2025 at 6:44 PM
Anyone know what is going on with Willock? Thought Ramsey was off the pace at Brighton, hopefully sharper tonight. Desperate for a midfielder going past St Nick and getting on the end of crosses
October 21, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Hopefully Joe will be back to form soon
October 21, 2025 at 6:38 PM
With all due respect, I don't get how you would think Barnes would start ahead of Gordon. Intrigued
