Why Velvette has kept it a secret from Vox befuddles him, but also adds a layer of respect between the two.

With the excessive energy consumption of his frenzied demon form, putting severe strain on his physical form for some time after. Thus, leaving him in a state of Burnout.

With no strength left, but instead pure speed, allowing him to be practically invisible, and keep this a secret from even Vox.
