Ohh..This is impressive indeed. RE engine is a complete contrast. Unreal has its own set of problems. Snowdrop and ID have been the most impressive.

It has no RT. That is incredibly demanding on CPU as well.

Raytracing is very heavy on CPU in this title.

By this logic no innovation will ever take place.

Intresting. I tried by removing the dlls and it crashed after few seconds. I will try this. People are saying it improves performance but frame time. Is still all over over place. Plus this title is cpu limited at highest settings even on 9800x3d.

Could be. Direct storage is used in many games now. Like cyberpunk and AFOP. Not necessarily for Gpu decompression though.

Why did they implement Gpu decompression when they themselves admitted that direct storage does not work properly on pc in R&C. Cpu decompression would have been fine.

Vram definitely is an issue especially for 8 gb cards for these current gen ports from Sony. Even at 1080p high settings without RT these cards will struggle.

Alan wake 2 on ps5 has 90 ms latency. And people happily play it. And it's not 10 fps. People really are stupid. Although 90 ms is a bit too much. 50-60 is fine for me.

Going from single to 3 artificial frames in 2 years is pretty impressive
